In 2005 I started EDM Canada later to be TTS Energy Canada. EDM Canada was a subsidiary of Engineering Drilling Machinery in Norway, by 2008 our revenue had grown to over 130 million with delivered rigs in Canada and exports to the USA, Mexico, Egypt, Norway, and Ukraine. TTS was a early adopter of PLC Controls and was one of the first companies to successfully incorporate electronic control systems on land based drilling rigs. The units besides being easy to operate included enhance safety features and interlocks to prevent injury to personnel and damage to equipment. Although TTS was a relatively small and young manufacturing company it had a diverse list of clients that included Weatherford, Schlumberger, High Arctic, Ability Drilling, and DonetskSteel. The photo of the synagogue is not a mistake EDM provided an AC driven R&P rig enclosed in a facade to resemble a synagogue on the corner of Pico Blvd. and Doheny Drive in Hollywood.
